十架雖重 The Cross That He Gave May Be Heavy

今早醒來，想起一首歌，很早以前唱的。其實我不太喜歡它的曲調，但是它的歌詞卻很美，唱出一個跟隨主多年的人內心對神的認定。

這首歌的作者 Ballington Booth 出生在英國，他的父親是救世軍（Salvation Army)的創辦人，他也從小就跟著父親一起服事，常常在講道結束時唱他自己作的詩歌。
他後來離開救世軍，在美國創辦了另一個機構（Volunteers of America)，後來輾轉來澳洲定居。從他的漂泊可以想見他勢必經歷過一些坎坷，可能這也是一首他的心情表述吧。
